Wonsten Group: Troubleshooting Guide for Common Faults

The Wonsten Group, a leading manufacturer in the industry, understands that equipment malfunctions can cause significant disruptions. To help our valued customers, we've compiled a troubleshooting guide for common faults encountered with our products.

1. Issue: After the piston rod extends a certain length, shaking the handle causes the neck rod to extend and retract.

Cause: The oil filling plug may not be loosened.

Solution: Loosen the oil filling plug. Additionally, check if the oil outlet valve in the pump body is properly sealed. If the oil outlet valve steel ball is not round or there is debris in the oil, replace it with clean engine oil and a new steel ball.

2. Issue: Oil leakage at the piston rod of large and small pumps.

Cause: A damaged sealing ring may be the culprit.

Solution: Replace the damaged sealing ring with a new one from the spare parts bag provided by Wonsten Group.

3. Issue: Oil leakage at the switch.

Cause: The pressure ring in the switch may be too loose.

Solution: After removing the limit screw and switch, tighten the pressure ring to resolve the leakage.

4. Issue: The ejector rod is weak and unable to function properly.

Cause: The steel ball in the switch may not be sealed well, or the switch top may not be holding the steel ball securely, or the steel ball may have fallen off.

Solution: Replace the steel ball and tighten the switch. If a steel ball is missing, add a new one to restore functionality.

5. Issue: Oil leakage at the top of the ejector rod.

Cause: The seal ring at the top of the piston rod may be damaged.

Solution: Replace the damaged seal ring with a new 14×2.4 O-ring provided by Wonsten Group.

6. Issue: Insufficient oil suction of the large and small pumps.

Cause: There may be debris attached to the filter screen inside the filter, or the oil level may be insufficient.

Solution: Unscrew the No. 12 part, clean the mesh with gasoline, and refill with oil to ensure proper suction.

7. Issue: The mold mounting hole is cracked.

Cause: A lateral load may have occurred during mold ejection, such as incorrect positioning of the workpiece during bending.

Solution: Check if the positions of the two support wheels are symmetrical, apply oil to the joint between the support wheel and the workpiece, and correct the position for the second bend to prevent cracking.

8. Issue: Pick-up pump, also known as bubbling pump or return pump, is malfunctioning.

Cause: The oil outlet valve steel ball may not be able to reset normally.

Solution: Extend the action rod (15) to apply pressure on the plunger pump and knock the handle seat (14) with a ram several times to reset the valve ball and restore pump functionality.

By following these troubleshooting tips, customers of the Wonsten Group can quickly resolve common faults and ensure smooth operation of their equipment.
